FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q&A:
Seed VS. Sod?
Both options can produce a great lawn, but for most homeowners, hydroseeding offers the best value.
More Affordable: Hydroseeding typically costs 50–80% less than sod.
Stronger Roots: Seed grows naturally in your existing soil, creating a deeper, healthier root system.
Custom Options: Choose grass blends that best fit your property's conditions and needs.
Sod provides instant green results, but it comes with a much higher price tag and still requires consistent watering while it establishes.
Our Recommendation: If you're looking for a healthy, long lasting lawn at a fraction of the cost, hydroseeding is the better investment for most properties.

3 .how much should i water?
For the first 2–3 weeks, keep the hydroseeded area consistently moist by watering 2–3 times per day in short cycles to prevent runoff.
Once the grass begins to establish, reduce watering to once daily, then gradually taper the frequency as the lawn matures to encourage deeper root growth.
Note: The blue color of the hydroseed application will fade after a few days of watering. This is normal and will not affect seed growth.
4 . How soon can I mow?
Mow your new lawn when the grass reaches about 3 inches in height. For the first few mowings, set your mower to 2–2.5 inches and make sure the blades are sharp to ensure a clean cut and avoid pulling up young grass seedlings.
